About Tom Charron
Operating from Pebble Beach near the Bay Area and Scottsdale, Tom delivers M&A solutions across Northern California and Arizona. Tom has a multi-state presence, living in both NorCal and Arizona, and a broad reach across those markets.
Tom is a Merger & Acquisition Intermediary specializing in representing sellers of construction services and property services businesses, including commercial janitorial, window washing, HVAC, landscaping, paving, parking lot sweeping, pest control, roofing, traffic services, fire and safety, and related services.
Tom also specializes in metal fabrication businesses as well as many types of manufacturing businesses. His 30+ years of business ownership and subsequent sale of his businesses give him a deep understanding of what an owner is going through when contemplating the sale of a business. His multiple ownership experiences give him the ability to advise sellers on how to prepare the business for sale.
These experiences have underscored for Tom the importance of building and quarterbacking a team of professionals, including transaction attorneys, real property and estate attorneys, wealth managers, CPAs, and tax specialists, to help clients keep the lion’s share of the price received for the business.
Tom became an M&A Business Advisor in 2017 and joined Western M&A Advisory in 2023. He currently specializes in manufacturing and construction services and enjoys the interaction with owners and management teams with whom he has built relationships. After selling his companies, he joined his brother’s scrap metal business, Charron Metals, where he helped run certain parts of the company and later became sales manager, overseeing more than 300 local manufacturing-company relationships.
